Mary Whalen Gradick
Passed away on December 01, 2022
Mary Whalen Gradick, 76, passed away, Thursday, December 1, 2022 at her home with her two sons by her side. She was born November 26, 1946 in Savannah to the late James and Margie Cribbs Whalen. Mary retired from Candler Hospital after more than 20 years of service. She was a member of Wilmington Island United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Eugene Gradick.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Christopher Gradick and Stephen Gradick, both of Savannah. Also surviving are her brother, James Whalen, Jr. (Sue), her four sisters, Diane Sciolino, Judy Hilliard, Janie Aeger (Charlie), and Kathy Bryant, three grandchildren, Kayla, Samantha, and Talor, three great-grandchildren, Katharine, River, and Diana, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilmington Island United Methodist Church. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Greenwich Cemetery.
